Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Laser Skin Rejuvenation is a laser treatment that improves the appearance of sun-damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. How Does the Treatment Work?
Laser light is applied as a series of gentle pulses to the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the pigmentation. Heat then is absorbed by the lesions, and the body begins a natural healing process. Lesions darken before they flake off or are absorbed by the body. Treatment can take place as frequently as every three weeks.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
For optimal results, a series of five treatments are recommended. Some patients see significant improvement with two to three treatments while others might require more. Follow-up treatments may be needed once a year to maintain desired results.
