Dr. Jayne has extensive medical experience. He graduated Medical School at the University of Oklahoma in 1988. Dr. Jayne completed his Internship in 1989 through the OU Health Sciences center. His journey then took a slight detour as he began working in the Emergency Room and attended the University of Oklahoma Law school graduating in 1992. After deciding that he desired to remain practicing medicine, he began a Family Medicine residency training and completed his Residency in Family Practice at Saint Anthony Hospital in 1994.

Dr. Jayne then started out in traditional Family Practice and continued in that model of practice until 2008 when he established David Jayne MD Medical Spa in Edmond OK. His first action was adding Aesthetic Procedures including Botox and Dermal fillers. This began his journey into focusing on improvement in health and quality of life.

Dr. Jayne began providing Aesthetic Treatments including Botox and Dermal Fillers in 2008. He has seen that when people Look Better their entire outlook and attitude tends to improve self-esteem which affects quality of life. His cumulative experience over 20 years and improvement in technique reduces discomfort and improves outcomes dramatically. 

In 2010, Dr. Jayne attended a training course on using Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) presented by the inventor of the Vampire Facelift and Vampire Facial using PRP. PRP provides healing, rejuvenation, and remodeling of tissue using the normal blood components but concentrated for optimal effects. This involves using a blood draw from the patient and a procedure to separate the PRP from the red blood cells. Using the patient’s own blood to produce these results is truly amazing. Dr. Jayne’s use of PRP has Increased greatly to include the P-shot (Priapus Shot) for erectile dysfunction, the O-shot (Orgasm Shot) for female sexual dysfunction and incontinence, and several orthopedic uses for arthritis , sprains,  and to promote healing of wounds.

He then decided that since he had been trained in Acupuncture in 1995 and firsthand had seen the positive results even though mainstream medicine totally discounted it as a sham or a purely placebo effect, he became convinced that there are other Alternative and Natural substances and procedures that have positive effects on the human body.

While attending an Anti-Aging and Wellness conference about 17 years ago was Dr. Jayne amazed by the evidence proving that Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement  BHRT (giving back the same molecules the human body produces normally but decline with age) has dramatic benefits including improvement in quality of life by reducing symptoms and delaying, or  possibly preventing progression of disease states. Subsequently he began extensive training in the use of these natural compounds and continues to study and attend updates in training to today.
